Information

Vision Insurance is provided through Aetna U.S. Healthcare.  Employees are eligible to participate the first of the month following 30 days from your date of hire.  City of Bridgeport contributes 100% of the premium for employees. 

Employees have the option to add their dependents.  Should an employee add dependents, the premium will be handled through the Section 125 Plan and deducted on a pre-tax basis. 

Your enrollment must be completed on or before your effective date.  If you do not enroll, you will have to wait for the next open enrollment period in September 2008 for an October 1, 2008 effective date.
